Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information LYNQ collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website at lynq.build and LYNQ Office, the content and social media tool at app.lynq.build. LYNQ is run by Mustafa Alqudah in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Questions go to mustafa@lynq.build.
What we collect
- When you contact us. The booking and contact forms ask for your name, business, email, website and details about your project. We use them only to reply to you and plan the work.
- When you use the chat on our website. What you type is sent to an AI model provider to write the answer. Please don't type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into it.
- When you sign in to LYNQ Office. Your name and email address from Google sign-in, and a cookie that keeps you signed in.
- When you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok or Google Ads): the access token the platform gives us, your account ID, name, handle and profile picture, the posts, captions and videos you ask us to publish, the statistics the platform reports for your account and posts, and comments on your posts where the platform allows it.
How we use it
Only to provide the service you asked for: drafting posts, publishing and scheduling the posts you approve, showing you how your posts and accounts perform, and helping you reply to comments. Nothing is published to your accounts unless you or someone you have authorized approves it.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use data from your connected accounts for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that run parts of the service, and only as much as they need:
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database), where the service and its data are stored.
- The platforms you connect (Meta, LinkedIn, Google and YouTube, TikTok), to publish your posts and read your results.
- Anthropic and OpenAI, to draft captions and images. They receive the text and pictures needed for a draft, never your access tokens.
- Telegram and our email provider, to send approval requests and messages to the account owner.
These providers may store data outside Canada, for example in the United States. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
YouTube
LYNQ Office uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to the YouTube channel you connect and to read its basic statistics. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove LYNQ's access at any time on your Google security settings page.
TikTok
LYNQ Office uses TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API to send the videos you approve to the TikTok account you connect. You can remove LYNQ's access at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy, Security, Manage app permissions. TikTok's own handling of your data is covered by the TikTok Privacy Policy.
How we protect it
Access tokens for connected accounts are encrypted before they are stored (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown in the app, in logs or in messages. Access to LYNQ Office requires signing in, and each workspace sees only its own data.
How long we keep it
- When you disconnect an account in LYNQ Office, we stop using its stored token right away and the account stops publishing and syncing. To also remove LYNQ's access on the platform's side, use the Google or TikTok links above, or the app settings of Meta or LinkedIn.
- Your posts, drafts and results stay in your workspace while you use the service, so you can see your history.
- If you ask us to delete your data, email mustafa@lynq.build and we will delete it within 30 days, except anything we are required by law to keep.
- Messages from our contact forms are kept as long as we need them to work with you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent, by emailing mustafa@lynq.build. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
LYNQ and LYNQ Office are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shared with LYNQ Office users before they take effect.
